When I was in the first semester of
my engineering i.e. Electrical Engineering then it was then first computer
program which I was being taught. Initially it looked too bored to me because I
was taught AutoCAD 2004 and visually it was just with ordinary
graphics but later on when I went through it a new world of designing was
revealed to me. It is very fabulous and highly best performing software and also a very user friendly yet very
powerful software in technical work.

Now I think AutoCAD
2011 or may be
more latest versions are also available. As I mentioned earlier that I used
AutoCAD 2004 and still it was very high performing. It is basically software
which is helpful in designing and promoting your thoughts to the visualization.
Moreover with this you can design a very clear and highly precise 2-
Dimensional or 3-Dimensional model.
It is best
software in engineering point
of view specially for Mechanical, Electrical and Civil
Engineers. Its is worthy because when an Engineer has to design
a new product or any part of a machine or a model of any device then he/she has
to plot a sketch by his hand which is very laborious and also time consuming.
The other (and in my opinion) the most appropriate way is that he/she should
use computer aid because its TECHNO ERA and computer is changing the life and
making is more fast and comfortable. So for this purposeAutoCAD is made which means Auto
Computer Aided Design.
It is also very useful software for
getting projections of a model.
Hence in my opinion it is very helpful and quite useful software and anyone can
use it for modeling and 2-D or 3-D project.
It is available free as a trial
version on internet. For complete use it can be purchased from its official
site. I was being provided by my University because it was purchased by our
department and was provided to us.
For any further help regarding AutoCAD e.g. its usage, installation, or any other kind of help you can leave a comment.
Thanks.
Waiting for your feedback.
Civil engineering, as a field of study, is quite a huge one, so students in this area have so many options when it comes to their field of expertise. As a matter of fact, it is typical for a civil engineering student to choose a field of expertise depending on his own interest. The areas of expertise available for students are: structural engineering, construction, geotechnical engineering, water resources, and transportation. Aside from working in the field, a person with a civil engineering degree can choose to have administrative positions or work as researchers and teachers. Click Here for more details.
